Abstract

In economic discussions, monetary value stability and exchange rate control is a challenging and important issue; Because the fluctuations of the exchange rate and the value of the national currency cause that in addition to creating a class gap, it also causes the misdirection of resources. By choosing the type of currency system and monetary policy, central banks try to maintain the value of the country's national currency as much as possible, and on the other hand, governments can cooperate in controlling the exchange rate by adopting appropriate commercial policies and directing investment. In Afghanistan, what has stabilized the country's monetary value is the aid of the international community, especially the aid of the United States, which is considered one of the most important factors, and in the next stage, the control of the country's money supply, which the central bank has been able to use in the last two decades, using the appropriate monetary policy. slow We cannot consider the type of currency system announced by the central bank as one of the factors of the country's monetary stability.
