The role of taxes on Afghanistan's economic growth

Abstract

Today, one of the most important economic goals of any country is economic growth, which governments are trying to use all the tools that play a role in economic growth and progress. One of the tools that plays a decisive role in economic growth is tax policies, which improve the level of welfare of society; because by managing the tax system, the economic crisis is monitored and controlled in a precise and practical manner and improves the level of welfare of citizens so that they are free from the suffering of poverty, unemployment, inequality of income distribution, etc. and the nation has access to health, security, education, welfare and comfort of life. Accordingly, the purpose of this research is the importance and impact of tax policy on the country's economic growth. Therefore, in this research, the role of tax on economic growth has been examined using an analytical-descriptive method. The findings of the research show that the government can control the economic crisis, including inflation, recession and economic fluctuations, by managing tax resources and in return, promote investment and job creation, which leads to economic growth in the country.
